BBQ Sauce

2½ cups catsup

1 cup finely chopped onion;

¼ cup packed brown sugar

3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

3 tablespoons cider vinegar

3 cloves minced garlic

1 teaspoon liquid smoke

¼ teaspoon hot pepper sauce


1) Combine catsup, onion; brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, cider vinegar, garlic, liquid smoke and hot pepper sauce in a medium saucepan.

2) Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Cover.

3) Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. (Use immediately or let it cool; cover and chill up to 3 days. Makes 3½ cups.)
