I have decided to run for president.

I have a pretty long drive to work so I tend to listen to a lot of talk radio. The problem is 99% of radio talk shows are of a conservative bent. Being to the political left, I end up doing a lot of arguing with the radio.

It's not so much their political views that irk me—Conservatism and Liberalism both have their strong points—it's the amount of disinformation they disseminate.

I'm thinking the hosts of these shows are intellectually lazy and don't study the issues, instead relying on histrionics and invective to make their points.

And perhaps worst of all, they are rude to the people that call in to comment, particularly those that don't hew to the conservative line. Hosts "talk over" callers' comments, ridicule them, and often cut them off in mid-sentence.

That's not right. More and more I find myself voting with my finger—as I hit the off button on my radio.

What do you think?
