The
Lottery is Rigged?
You may have heard you are more likely to be hit on the head by
a meteorite than to win the lottery. This is certainly so. The odds
are about one in one billion. Even with these odds, lottery commissions
are not satisfied. Is the lottery rigged? http://www.uncoveror.com/lottery.htm

The
Search for Jan Smithers
Jan Smithers played the touchingly shy and neurotic Bailey Quarters
on the wonderful sitcom "WKRP in Cincinnati." The show also
featured the much more famous Loni Anderson. Why Loni captured the
public attention instead of Jan is one of life's mysteries. So, what
ever happened to Jan Smithers?

I
hope if dogs ever take over the world, and they chose a king, they

Town
Plans 60 Foot Lava Lamp
Worried that visitors don't stop at Soap Lake any more even though
its medicinal waters reputedly can cure anything from sheep parasites
to snake bite, civic leaders are considering trying to revive the
tourist trade with a 60-foot-high lava lamp in the center of downtown,
complete with viewing platform. (Thanks Kathy D.) http://www.cnn.com/2003/TRAVEL/01/14/offbeat.lava.lamp.reut/index.html

Nipple
Scarf
I have absolutely no clue where you might get one of these, but I'm
sure if you did, I am sure you would be the first one on your block
to have one. |

Empire
of the Dead
Far below the city streets of Paris, in the quiet, damp darkness,
seven million Parisians lie motionless. Their skeletons, long since
dis-interred from the churchyard graves their survivors left them
in, are neatly stacked and aligned to form the walls of nearly one
kilometer of walking passage.
Welcome to the Denfert-Rochereau OssuaryThe Empire of the
Dead.

who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become
a monster. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, the abyss gazes
also into you."
