Marinara Sauce

1 slice bacon

½ cup chopped onion

½ cup catsup

2 tablespoons white vinegar

2 tablespoons water

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1/8 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 can Great Northern beans, drained

1) Cut bacon into 1-inch pieces.

2) Cook in medium saucepan over medium heat 3-4 minutes.

3) Add onion and cook until bacon is crisp and onion tender; stir occasionally.

4) Combine catsup, vinegar, water, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Add to bacon and onion mixture.

5) Stir in beans. Reduce heat and simmer 15-20 minutes.
